User :   Hi - awhile back I noticed a single bubble like tiny lump on the inside of my foot. Now I see that there is a small cluster of approx 9 pea size lumps there - very concerned!

User :   the first one about 5 months ago, the others today
Doctor :   Can you describe those lumps, its size and if its soft/cystic or hard in nature?

User :   no I have not yet seen a doctor, but I did google it and got concerned when I read about Plantar fibromatosis the lumps are soft and do not hurt .... yet!

User :   How ever they are on the inside of my foot and not on the sole of my foot, also I have a couple on the other foot. not at all painful.
Doctor :   Do you have itching, burning sensation or discharge from those lumps?

Doctor :   Based on the description, the lump are probably due to frictional changes.
Doctor :   Its hard to predict if they are due to fibromatosis
Doctor :   without a visual examination.
Doctor :   Since there are no associated symptoms,
Doctor :   It is more likely a benign, non concerning issue.
User :   what are the associated symptoms I should look out for, and is Plantar fibromatosis serious / curable??
Doctor :   You will need few modifications with foot care.
Doctor :   Plantar fibromatosis are not serious problem.
Doctor :   They are again a benign one.
Doctor :   However they are chronic conditions where a complete cure may not be possilble.
User :   OK - but I just read on google (!) that Plantar fibromatosis stiffens the toes and you cannot walk? are chronic conditions common and how would I know if I had them or will get them?
Doctor :   Depending on the severity and extent
Doctor :   the symptoms varies.
