User :   i get sleep
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :
if you do not take the tablet then do you have this problem?
User :   if i wake up i used to go often
Doctor :
i will help you with the various causes that can have this symptom
Doctor :
1.Frequent urination means needing to urinate more often than usual. Urgent urination is a sudden, compelling u to go for passing urine
User :   ok
Doctor :
2. the most common cause is urinary tract infection (UTI) which will have other symptoms like fever, pelvic pain, burning when passing urine
Doctor :
3. next commom=nest cause is diabetes which will also have nausea, history of bedwetting, visual changes, excess thirst
Doctor :
4.Acute cystitis is a bacterial infection of the bladder or lower urinary tract. this will have a long history of symptoms with infections, frequency, burning, pelvic pain.
User :   no the thing is wen i am at home i dont feel like going often
Doctor :
ok
User :   wen i go out i feel so uncomforatable
User :   and i feel so scared and nervous
Doctor :
i will tell you all the reasons for it along with the symptoms such that you can analyse and tell me which one fits your condition
Doctor :   5.Incontinence is the inability to control the passage of urine. This can range from an occasional leakage of urine to urgent need to pass urine. this will also have night time urination.
Doctor :
6.Urethritis is inflammation of the urethra from any cause. this will again have symptoms of pain, fever, burning along with frequency.
User :   no i dont have any pain as such
Doctor :
ok
User :   nor fever
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :
when you are at home how many times a day you go for urination/or feel the urge to go for passing urine?
Doctor :
and when you are outside home how many times you feel the urge?
User :   4 to 5 times
User :   at home i dont have any prob as such
User :   but wen i go out
Doctor :
do you feel to pass urine after feeling nervous/scared? does this feeling go away once you are relaxed?
User :   yes
User :   wenever i suppose to go out i take a very long time like ance i go to the bathroom and again i feel to go again and again until i feel comfortable... i dont even drink water and dont eat wen i go out because of the fear... i dont even travel .... i hate going out ....wenever i go i prefer the place where there is no restrictions and should have the restrooms overthere....
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :   Ok I can understand your problem and your anxiety
Doctor :
You need not worry about it
User :   my father tried alot for me to come out this... they have took me to the doctors many doctors like urologist, psychiatrist .... some have suggested to undergo the operation , but some of them said that its not physical problem it is psychological problem like bladder habit etc....
Doctor :
It can be handled well with the help of few medicines and counselling session by a clinical Psychologist
User :   ok
Doctor :
You need bladder training along with this
User :   ok
Doctor :
One more thing is to rule out a medical cause of the problem with few tests
Doctor :
Since you have already consulted an Urologist
User :   yes
Doctor :
I hope she / he has take care of that
User :   i have all the reports
Doctor :
May I know what is his opinion on it?
User :   he said suggested for opeartion
Doctor :
What is the operation for?
Doctor :   DId he mention that?
User :   i dont know wat exactly it is
Doctor :
How does it help you? Did he mention that
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :
There are some operations which increase the angle of the neck of bladder so that the urgency is prevented
User :   no
User :   one more doctor said that no need of operation it can be cured by the medicines
Doctor :   Yes Let me complete
User :   ok
Doctor :
The operation is only symptomatic it helps in holding urine for long time
Doctor :   before operation there are some medicine which can be tried to reduce the urgency
Doctor :
Here the main problem is mostly psychological
User :   ok
Doctor :
so first trying to treat the cause is better if you are ok with it
Doctor :
If you insist on an instant relief of your symptoms
Doctor :
then it is better to go for medicine which shall reduce the urgency
User :   ok
Doctor :
These might work for few days and then you have to again resort to the operation procedure
Doctor :
So different doctors have a different approach
Doctor :
My opinion is you have to take a multidisciplinary approach
User :   ok
Doctor :
First taking a chance with counselling with a Clinical Psychologist, Bladder training and medicines to reduce the urgency
User :   ok
Doctor :
This may take sometime
Doctor :
But this is proper
User :   ok
Doctor :
You will be given some medicines to reduce the anxiety
User :   ok
Doctor :
and ways to easily control the urgency
Doctor :
with some relaxation techniques
User :   ok
Doctor :
Did you follow my opinion?
User :   yes i do
Doctor :
Do you have any questions?
User :   ya
User :   i dont get sleep without the tablet
User :   i have addicted for that
User :   from past 1 year i am taking tablet to get sleep
Doctor :
again this is a fast step taken by many people
Doctor :
First people have to follow certain habits before they take the tablets for sleep
User :   actually that was precribed by the psychaitrist
Doctor :
if they do not help then the tablets are to be taken occasionally
Doctor :
Once the tablets are started it becomes difficult for them to stop them
Doctor :
More over they should not be stopped on a single day
Doctor :
They have to start reducing the dosage gradually so that the sleep is not affected
User :   ok
Doctor :
Now tell your psychiatrist to guide you ways to increase the sleep and after you achieve certain levels ask him to reduce the dose gradually
Doctor :
so that you do not have withdrawal effects
Doctor :
Spend some time with your doctor
User :   ok
Doctor :
and write down all the questions before you see him actually during an appnt
Doctor :
so that you do not miss them
User :   ok
Doctor :
If the doctor is not able to spend the time with you
Doctor :
You have to choose a second doctor
User :   ok
Doctor :
especially when it comes to matters like these
Doctor :
So communication is more important
Doctor :
DO not be embarrassed or inhibited to spk to him
User :   ok
Doctor :
When you put your request the doctor might help you
Doctor :
and this may not happen in the first sitting but over a period of time he will explain you his plan
Doctor :
and try to pacify your anxiety
User :   ok
Doctor :
Believe in the doctor you see, write down your feeling once in a while in a small book that you carrry each dy
Doctor :
and take the book and read out them to the doctor
User :   ok
Doctor :   saying this is what I felt when I was having the sensation of urgency
User :   can u suggest me any doctor so that i can go and contact him
Doctor :   Yes
Doctor :
Which city do you live in?
User :   i am from bangalore
Doctor :
Which area?
User :   rajajinagar
Doctor :
One more thing as long as you do not believe in your treating Doctor you will not see major benefits
Doctor :
so would you really wish to change your doctor or would like to wait and watch
User :   definitely i take the the advice of the doctor and even i try to come out of it
Doctor :
