User :   and i am afraid that i have it
User :   i had a negative antibody test
User :   and those are my liver function #s
Doctor :   your tests are in normal range
Doctor :   and if your antibody is also negative then the chances are less
User :   so generally if i were in the middle of the infection, my liver enzymes would probably be elevated?
Doctor :   yes and it will come in your antibody tests
User :   do u think i should get another antibody test
Doctor :   when were you exposed and when was the test taken ?

User :   i had some nausea loss of appetite right upper quad pain and light fevers, i went to the er they gave me an abdominal u/s and they said it was my gallbladder that needs to be taken out
User :   i asked about my liver they said it is not enlarged and that my enzymes were within the normal range, so i shouldnt worry, but im still worrying!!!!!!
Doctor :   well gallstones do come with the SAME symptoms
Doctor :   so the signs you are having could be from the gall stones
Doctor :   and not from hep C
Doctor :   plus your antibodies are negative and you enzymes level normal
Doctor :   but its been 2 weeks after exposure you got the test
Doctor :   anybodies take about 3 weeks . so i would suggest you again to get a antibody test done
