Symptoms and treatment for tonsilitis - Online Doctor Chats
Doctor : hi
Doctor : how can i help u?
User : Hello, I have a real big problem, i'll just paste it.
User : Hi, I'm an 18 year old female and I have a throat issue. Okay, right now I have a sore throat and it really hurts, I've started myself on antibiotics. But before I took the antibiotic, I looked in the back of my throat and saw something really disgusting. I'll tell you this, sometimes, on days when I'm normal without sickness, I look in the back of my throat and I'll see a collection of little yellow balls, almost like puss balls. My sister gets these as well, one time I collected them from the back of my throat on the side not too far from that flap that hangs down in the back. When I took the sample out, it really smelled bad, but after days, it went away. Sometimes, and this is really gross, but sometimes I might swallow and I would swallow them! It's like they collect there and eventually they go away or I swallow them or something, but they're not always there. Anyway, with my sore throat now, I looked in the back and it's the grossest collection of that stuff there and looks like I really have an infection here. I clearly see the puss and all, really nasty I know, but you're doctors, you've probably seen/heard worse. Also, my lymph nodes are swollen with the infection. Can you tell me what is this stuff? And why do I keep getting it in the back of my throat sick or not? And why does it smell so bad?
User : sorry, it's long
