User :   my right ring finger is swollen from the tip to the first knukle so about an inch. I thought it was an infection so I tried to bleed some of it out then i put antiobotic cream on it. Its been swollen for maybe 5 days. It dosent hurt as bad now but the swelling is still getting worse, slowly.

User :   I dont really know it just started hurting and I noticed it was red. Sometimes when I pick my fingernails i acc. rip the sides to far but i dont think thats wat caused this
User :   its swelling alot to the side to so my finger looks wider
Doctor :   it could be the nail infection going on to spread to entire finger
