User :   ok, so my friend (14, male, skinny) just barely accidently swallowed a nail (it's a long story) about 12 hours ago. he just went to the hospital an hour ago. they said it is stuck in his stomach.

User :   I am wondering.........will he need surgery? If he does, how long will he be in the hospital for? And approx, what is the length/width/height of the stomach?
User :   and the people at the hospital won't tell me anymore do to h.i.p.a.a.
