Unlike kidney stones gall bladder stones are bigger in size

and cannot be dealt with blast therapy
Doctor :   When was it diagnosed?

User :   just 5 month back
Doctor :   Ok

Doctor :
It has to be treated surgicall in most of the cases
User :   Is there any problem after surgery
Doctor :   Gallstones that don't cause signs and symptoms, such as those detected during an ultrasound or CT scan done for some other condition, typically don't require treatment.
Doctor :   Right now it is not mandatory as per my knowledge
User :   One homeopath suggested to remove it by homeopathic treatment. since last 4 month, she is taking treatment but no improvement , should we continue or we should stop.
Doctor :
Homepathic is not recommended from my side
Doctor :   I am not from that stream

Doctor :
I would advise you to be cautious of her symptoms
Doctor :
like upper abdominal pain, back pain or pain in the shoulder
Doctor :
If left untreated it is not of concern as such
User :   sonography was done for just only to get check up for manapause.
Doctor :   Ok

Doctor :
That is the reason I mentioned that
Doctor :
If it shows up the symptoms I mentioned then she can undergo surgery
Doctor :   But most people with gallstones that don't cause symptoms will never need treatment.

User :   Regarding her history, She is sufferring from back pain and soulder pain since last 10 years. She is also having High Blood Pressure. She is taking treatment for these, since last 10 years.
Doctor :   Ok

Doctor :   Ok

Doctor :
then it is showing symptoms
Doctor :
and has to be operated
User :   OK now pl tell me, will there be any complication during operation or after operation.
Doctor :   It is very minimal

Doctor :
Go for the laparoscopic method
Doctor :
and it is far better than the conventional method
Doctor :
and is the method preferred right now
User :   People says that after surgery she will not be able to eat properly and digestion will be poor.
Doctor :   Nothing like that

Doctor :
they are myths
Doctor :   Most people won't experience digestive problems after cholecystectomy.
Doctor :   Your gallbladder isn't essential to healthy digestion.

User :   She has also hernia problem which was also detected during recent sonogrphy. It is possible to remove both problem in same operation
Doctor :   Hernia is a repair procedure
Doctor :
Not possible in one go
Doctor :
Not advisable
Doctor :
some gap is required
Doctor :
atleast 2-3 days
Doctor :
with due consideration to the response after the first procedure
User :   Doctors at Bhopal (India) planning to do in one go. They are also suggesting to put some mesh inside. what it is.
Doctor :   Yes, it is done to strengthen the abdominal wall

Doctor :   to compensate for the muscual defect

Doctor :
a mesh is placed in the area
Doctor :   It seems you have moved out of the chat window. Please log in back if you have medical queries.

Doctor :
You can proceed
User :   ok
User :   What complications will arise if both operations will be done in one go
Doctor :   It wont be done

Doctor :
That is the thing I mentioned
Doctor :
It is not done medically
Doctor :
so if it is done is a hypothetical question
User :   Dr. ABhijeet Deshmukh, at Bhopal Gastro Surgeon, is suggesting to do it, He has done thousnds of cases of GB stone and hernia.

If hernia is also laproscopic, then fine
