User:Hello Doc
Doctor:Hello, please go ahead with your question
User:I just gave a health assesment & got a score of 51%
User:So is a little concerned about the score,the main problems I feel are sleeping patterns & dietry plans.
Doctor:Can you explain to me what you mean by problems with sleeping patterns and dietary plans?
User:Usually I get 5 hours of sleeps on weekdays... & thus compensate on weekends by sleeping for around 10-12 hours,basically from past 1 month or so.
Doctor:Why has your sleeping pattern changed in the last one month?
User:and due to prolonged office hours & stressed schedule sometimes feel starved while sitting in the car while on the way back to home.
User:I just started working... so now I have to wake up at 6 in the morning
Doctor:Oh, okay, at what time do you come back home?
User:Usually before joining work(during college days),I used to stay up late at night & sleep till late in the morning... But now Have to wake up at the morning but can't sleep till 1 or so...Due to some work & maybe out of habbit.
User:around 20:30
Doctor:You mean you work from 6 am till 8:30 pm?
User:snack immediately & have dinner around 21:15
User:actually I work from 08:30-17:30
Doctor:what takes so much time then?
User:but the transport takes the extra time...(Due to traffic and all)
User:I wake up at 6 leaves around 7... reach office around 8:15 take 1-2 cups of coffee & start working from 8:30
Doctor:These are unavoidable delays
Doctor:you could shift your location closer to office
Doctor:What you can do otherwise is to sleep by 10:00 pm sharp
Doctor:that way you will get adequate sleep
Doctor:and eating, you should not drink coffee or tea before you go to sleep

User:Shifting location will mean staying away from home & thus will lead to problems related to diet
User:& also will have to arrange for all sorts of serviced that will be much more hectic..
Doctor:That is true
User:Yeah I don't drink coffee after evening.. 2-3 cups during the working hours only
Doctor:There is no easy solution for this
User:& consumes lot of water
User:How can I improve my sleeping timings...
Doctor:That is good
User:that's the main concern...
Doctor:You should go to sleep at a regular time every dau
Doctor:that is, you will need to sleep by 10 pm
Doctor:and wake up at 6
Doctor:I know that leaves no time for yourself
Doctor:but if you wish to continue working, then you will have to compromise on something
User:sleeping at 10 is almost impossible in the current situations...I can sleep by 11:30 or so & I tried but I failed miserably
Doctor:Why? what prevents you from sleeping at 10?
User:Yeah your analysis is up to the point that's why I stretch around 11:30-12:00
User:Let's talk about today
User:I reached home at 9
User:had dinner by 9:30
User:Checked some XXXXXXX Logged in here in this portal & bam it's already 10:30
User:I relax by watching movies.... So I usually opt for 1 or 2 TV sitcoms episodes while in bed before sleeping
User:& that goes to 1 or so.... or if I really am tired I fall asleep in the middle of that.
User:any suggestions on that..??
Doctor:Only suggestion is... immediately after dinner, take a stroll
User:I tried explaing the whole scenario,& hope you somewhat understood it.
Doctor:come back and switch off all lights and television and everything else that can distract you
Doctor:and go to bed
User:I tried but I can't.. I keep on thinking about one thing or other...
Doctor:force yourself to go to bed by 10 pm
Doctor:I can understand that
Doctor:but if you practice that daily, it will become a habit and your will start sleeping by 10
Doctor:There is no shortcut
Doctor:If you want to keep working and do not want to spoil your health, you must sleep at 10
