Doctor:Hi, sounds like you've been dealing with alot of allergy issues.
Doctor:How can I help you?
User:What will stop the itch
Doctor:Now this itch is only at night?
Doctor:or is it all the time?
Doctor:The last few sentences got garbled there, so i want to make sure.
User:Mosrly night but s in the sometime in the dAY and tree aND GRASS
Doctor:Ok. Have hydrocortisone creams ever helped you in the past?
User:NO ALSO ALERGIC TO IT
Doctor:i see.
Doctor:The other thing that can be done is to up your dosage of the prednisone and get over this particular atopic patch. You can normally discuss this with your primary doc over the phone
User:CAN'T TAKE THAT EITHER
Doctor:you mentioned methylprednisone in your original query.
Doctor:didn't that work for you?
User:ALERCIC AND DIABETIS SKY ROCKETS
User:those ARE THINGS I CANT TAKE
Doctor:I see. At this point then, you might need immune modulation therapy like Azathioprine or cylophosphamide. These are the provinces of a good Rheumatologist. Are you seeing one currently?
User:wHERE DO I GET THAT
Doctor:A rheumatologist is a specialist that your primary doctor can refer you to
Doctor:They are experts when it comes to immune issues. Extreme allergies are an immune issue
Doctor:There is a Dr. XXXXXXX E. Varela, he's arheumatologist in your area.
Doctor:He's actually in a town called "Lake Charles". Thats about 40 miles away
Doctor:Do you think you could call your primary and get a referral to someone like him?
User:sEEN ONE BUT NOT FOR THAT jUST SAW A DERMETOLOGIS RHEUMATOLOGIST, INTERNIST HEART dR. HEAD DOCTOR ENDOCRONOLOGIST AND A FEW OTHERS
Doctor:Well , the person I would concentrate on is the rheumatologist.
User:OKi WANT TO SAVE THIS
Doctor:You have an overactive immune system and you need medication or therapy that will quiet it down without the use of steroids (which would make your diabetic issues worse.
Doctor:Sure. Can you type in your email address. I will send you a copy of the chat
User:I THOUGHT MY NEUROLOGIS WOULD HELP BUT DIDN'T SEEM CONCERNED
Doctor:Unfortunately it's really not a neurologists bailiwick to deal with this kind of thing
User: YYYY@YYYY lower case
Doctor:Great! The email is on it's way!
User:Thanks
Doctor:Always happy to help!
