User:Hi Doctor
User:I have pain on left side of my jaw/ neck. It isn't a show stopper but a slight pain that keeps on.

User:it isnt a pain... no it doesnt hamper any day to day activity
User:some kind of an uneasiness
User:I have pain on the left side of my buttocks, this is due to sitting long hours at work...

Doctor:Does the pain worsen with movement of jaw (eating) or movement of the neck?
User:the pain is on the starting side of jaw bone...
User:the area between the jaw bone and left ear... it isnt really a pain... but some kind
User:no it doesnt hamper any day to day activity

User:I sleep on my left side

User:Nothing, other that the left side pain on buttocks
User:I did 10 day physiotherapy and had an xray
User:this was last month
User:not much relief in the pain due to my sitting job

User:he said spine is ok...
User:but maybe have to do an mri...

User:not for neck

Doctor:The area that you described seem to be temporomandibular joint to me.
Doctor:This joint is least affected with position. However strong action of the mouth such as biting a hard object,
Doctor:those who have teeth grinding habit develop this sort of ache.
User:i did a google, area is right
Doctor:Rarely, this pain may be referred ache where the pathology is in the tonsil/throat or the ear.
Doctor:Without a detailed physical examination, it is difficult to predict the cause
Doctor:especially when you have no associated complaints.
Doctor:Therefore I suggest you see a doctor (dentist)
Doctor:and confirm the cause of ache.
User:somebody told me, it may be related to heart
User:can it be?
Doctor:In the mean time, if the ache is troubling you can take mild analgesic such as ibuprofen 200mg
User:nope, it isnt troublin
Doctor:I do not suspect heart ailment when you have no other associated symptoms.
Doctor:More over you did not describe a severe pain
Doctor:so do not be worried.
