User:how should we go about this??
Doctor:So without knowing all those details I will not be able to advice on the treatment choices available
Doctor:First get a plain X-ray of the knees
Doctor:consult an orthopedic surgeon with the X-ray
Doctor:Based on the X-ray, he/she may advice you to go for MRI scan of the knees
User:done that. and he has suggested that an injection which acts as a lubricant can be used
Doctor:If there is no cartilage damage, then medicines can be taken to improve the bone density
Doctor:Yes, the treatment choices depend on X-ray and MRI findings
Doctor:If there is cartilage damage or if there are lose pieces of bone in the joint, then joint replacement can be considered
