User :   Hi doctor.. I have been having a kind of tension headache for the past few months..
Doctor :   may i know your age ?
User :   I can say that it's almost been a year..
User :   23..
User :   It's been 1 year since I joined work..
Doctor :   is it work related ?
User :   I can't say that.. but yes I had some personal issues.. little stress.. self-confidence issues etc..

User :   I even met a counsellor once.. and things have been better on that front..
Doctor :   and how are you dealing with them
User :   I am trying to be more positive.. trying to relax..
User :   trying not to become tensed..
Doctor :   well thats a good start
User :   but theres the physical part of the problem.
Doctor :   let me tell you few things that you can do to help you
User :   yeah doctor..
User :   the problem is.. there is a constant band kind of feeling around my scalp muscles..
Doctor :   An excellent way to relieve the pain of a tension headache is through massage. Gently use your fingertips to massage the muscles in your neck, head, and shoulders. Some headache sufferers find that massaging their temples helps to relieve the pain. You can do this yourself or have someone else massage the area for you.
User :   okay doctor.. I will do that regularly..
Doctor :   use an ice pack wrapped in a towel or cloth and place it on your forehead.
Doctor :   Deep breathing is an effective technique for relieving a tension headache when you first feel it beginning. Take several slow deep long breaths making sure to inhale and exhale very slowly.
User :   okay...
Doctor :   Stress management stretching can help relieve a headache caused by muscle tension. Relax your neck and shoulders completely and turn your head from side to side. Repeat the movement with your shoulders shrugged and then once again while your shoulders are relaxed.
Doctor :   Take a short ten minute walk outside and breathe deeply while walking.
User :   The thing is.. a lot of time it actually doesnt interfere with my daily activities.. but there are also times when sometimes it affects sleep in night.. and then the next day becomes very tough..
User :   it becomes really tough to focus.. that band feeling gets worse.. also the sleeplessnes..
User :   I will regularly do the exercises suggested by you..
Doctor :   you will soon feel the difference
Doctor :   and like you are already doing be positive
User :   some 3 months ago.. I even consulted a physiotherapist.. she did little therapy.. but somehow it wasnt helping..

User :   But I would also like to know.. are there doctors (in Bangalore) who have experience dealing with these issues..
User :   If so.. I would be glad to consult..
User :   I want to make a good effort and get this over with.. its nagging my mind all the time..
