User :   My daughter aged 14 years is suffering from pain in her head ( right side of skull ) in the morning just after getting up and more so in the evenings till bed time for last 8days. Her pain is sometimes accompanied by nausea and sometimes vomits also. She is passing yellow urine since one and a half month. This is happening daily. We consulted a doctor and as per her advice got her eyes checked which are normal. we got x-ray of her skull and doc advised that she does not have sinus problem either. Her appetite is also normal. Pls advise immeditely.

User :   One day she vomitted two to three times in the evening also

User :   It all started with the pain in stomach just above naval 10 days back. Later stomach pain was found due to period and it is ok but about 7days back headache started.

Doctor :   *Non steroidal anti inflammtory drugs
Doctor :   Like Naproxen, Ibuprufen
User :   She was given normal pain killer but relief is not lasting.only a bit

Doctor :   The following modes will help you
Doctor :   1.To prevent menstrual migraine, take medications just before the onset of menstruation and continue for the duration of the expected headache. Taking hormones such as estrogens or estrogen-related medications also help to prevent migraine.
User :   But that is over and pain is still there. And it happens in morning, anytime in A/N and every day in the evening?
Doctor :   2.To reduce the frequency and duration of menstrual migraine, take prophylactic medications such as beta blockers, calcium channel blockers.
User :   Is there any BP related problem?
Doctor :   If its menstrual migraine will subside after periods
Doctor :   As in your case its persistant

1. Using ice, biofeedback, and relaxation techniques may be helpful in stopping an attack once it has started. 2. Sleep may be the best medicine if it is possible. 3.avoiding certain foods especially those high in tyramine such as sharp cheeses or those containing sulphites or nitrates (nuts, pressed meats).

Doctor :   even low dose of oral contraceptives will help her if the above treatment does not help her

Doctor :   OCP ( oral contraceptive pills) given to avoid pregancy
User :   It is not the case.
Doctor :   The estrogen will regulate her harmonal imbalance helping her get rid opf headache

Doctor :   It not only given for avoiding preganacy it helps in many other ways to treat harmonal imbalance
