User :   hi.I have tinnitus.Would like to know is there atreatment for it? how long will it take to cure?

User :   i am 40 years old and have this problem for over 3 years now.
Doctor :   Do you get them continuously?
User :   Yes I am here
User :   yes it is continous
User :   only now the sound volume has increased
Doctor :   Do you have any associated symptoms such as ear pain, dizziness, hearing disturbance associated with it?
User :   no ear pain but dizziness sometimes and nowadays when the sound ahs increased I feel haeviness in the eyes

User :   No

User :   I at times feel a lot of itch in the ears, Though I keep them clean all the time
User :   Yes i have consulted many but no treatment worked
User :   In allopathy the doctor told me it was hit and trial
Doctor :   Did you get audiometry/tympanometry tests done?
User :   Yes all the tests were done 2 years ago all were negative and I was on verbatin for a month or so

Doctor :   Do you have any other medical illness such as diabetes/thyroid hormone disturbances, anxiety, depression, hypertension?
User :   No, none other than low B.P.

User :   Yes with a variation of 2-3 days but they have always been like this

Doctor :   Let me explain to you.
Doctor :   Continuous and recurrent tinnitus are associated with ear problems and most important of them all is Meniere/s disease
Doctor :   Your symptoms are not consistent with the feature of Menierre's disease.
Doctor :   Moreover normal Ear examination and normal Audiometry test rules out all the doubts of menierre's disease.
Doctor :   With this ruled out, I do not feel that your symptom is associated with any concerning organic medical illness.
Doctor :   Probably blood pressure fluctuations, stress and other psychological factors may be the cause.
Doctor :   They need not specific management, apart from the regulating your diet and proper sleep.
