User :   I have a host of problems and I need references of doctors
User :   hi
User :   I have been seeing a psychiatrist and a neurologist
Doctor :   ok
User :   about 8 months back I got diagnosed with Obstructive sleep apnea
User :   though it was mild
Doctor :   ok
User :   the main problem I was facing was with sleep and sleep related issues
User :   my neurologist told me that the root cause could be because of something other than OSA
Doctor :   ok
User :   so she gave me reference of a psychiatrist
User :   and I was found to have depression symptoms
User :   I took an MMPI and was initially diagnosed with schizo-affective personality type
User :   as of now I am taking medications for the depression
Doctor :   may i know your age and gender >
User :   but the co-existence or rather the number of problems I am facing is discouraging me in my prognosis
User :   I am 28 yeas old and male
User :   as of now I am having some peculiar symptoms
Doctor :   are you over weight ?
User :   I am 6 feet tall and my weight is nearly 94-95 so I am overweight yes
Doctor :   was any sleep study done ?
User :   yes
User :   and like I said earlier I was diagnosed with OSA
Doctor :   can you tell me what medications you are on right now ?
User :   I am taking Modalert in morning and night and Soltus 200 same way morning and night
User :   I am having multiple problems and if you can guide me to which I should focus on to begin with
Doctor :   and how many days have gone by since you have been on these medications ?
Doctor :   sure we will go one by one
User :   I have been on the medications for more than 20 days. But earlier I had the same medications in less dose and have been on those medicines since more than 2 months
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   are you able to sleep now ? any relief ? from before ?
User :   actually I would like for you to address somethigng else first as it is affecting me more than anything else
User :   since the past 2 weeks I have been having this sort of thumping in the head during evenings I am unable to explain
Doctor :   go ahead
User :   the thumpings not just restricted to my head though
Doctor :   ok
User :   I am not able to explain precisely what it is but basically its related to breathing, there is breathing, somehow it seems to be related to my eyes, it happens when I am exhausted and I seem to be able to turn it on and off
Doctor :   how often it happens and are their any specific timings ?
Doctor :   or any triggers ?
User :   now there are two developments which come to my mind because these things happened around the time I started experiencing these things like nearly more than a year ago or maybe this thumping thing has been happening even before that
User :   one of them is banging my head against the wall which happened and the other is the lasik operation of my eyes and I am apprehensive it could be related to both or any of them
User :   there are no specific timings and these days it seems to happen quite a lot
Doctor :   did you got any CT or MRI done ?
User :   I had done a MRI and it came clean
User :   but this thumping thing is still freaking me out a lot
Doctor :   ok now thats a positive sign as MRI was very detail and specific and if there was ANY minor issue it would have shown
Doctor :   do you have any visual problems ?
User :   nothing specific
User :   I get headaches sometimes
User :   sometimes I dont use glasses to work on computer or mobile as a result sometimes I have slight headaches
Doctor :   that can be a common trigger
User :   apart from that there are no visual problems as such. But one thing before doing Lasik I had done a laser operation and was told I had a weak retina
Doctor :   ok
User :   and yeah I have floating objects a lot! However I am told to ignore tham
User :   them
User :   I had some risk of renal detachment
User :   but I have to chekc that up every 6 months or so and last time (1 month ago) it was normal
User :   I had read something about racy thoughts...could I be experiencing that? I am alittle confused about this
Doctor :   yes these are some symptoms you can get
Doctor :   but dont worry its all about mind control
User :   there is one more thing
Doctor :   sure please tell me
User :   its got to do with my ENT and tinnitus
User :   I have a lot of ringing in my ears but was under the impression it could be because of the OSA
User :   so I visited an ENT and her first impression was my ears drums had gone inside and she talked something about tonsilitus or something on my right side
User :   she also was talking to her assistant about pus in my throat
Doctor :   thats means it can be infectious
Doctor :   can you tell me what treatment was given to you
User :   I went to her with an audiogram
User :   I was told to get audiogram and MRI
User :   audiogram was normal but I was advised by the doc to get a dental opinion and additionally
User :   I was asked to take some pills
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   and for how long you took the pills ?
User :   but honestly my faith in my ENT was lost as she seemed to somehow changed her tone about my ringing in my ears
User :   she told met that I am too stressed out and all and seemed to have lost interest for some wierd reason
User :   I will tell you the medication just 1 minute please
Doctor :   sure
User :   she had asked me to do impedance and audiometry
User :   and a CT PNS
User :   it all pretty much came ot be normal except the audiometry where I was advised to get a dental opinion
Doctor :   did you went ahead for a dental opinion
User :   I am going to see an orthodontist tomorrow for that
Doctor :   ok
User :   she had asked me to take Genkosar and told me to not worry and that it wont have side effects and that the tinnitus should be solved thats the last advice she gave me
User :   but honestly not very satisfied with her diagnosis
Doctor :   i can understand
User :   so can you please advise me where to start as I am unable to get a grip on all this right now
Doctor :   ok to begin with we should wait for the dental report
Doctor :   the good thing here that all your diagnostics tests came normal
User :   ok
User :   well what about the shock like senation or racy thoughts or whatever I am experiencing
User :   *sensation
User :   the other thing is the ENT issues
Doctor :   now we need to wait on the mind thoughts as the medications new dose will take time to adjust
Doctor :   ent will be clear by the dental checkup tomorrow
User :   ok
User :   honestly I am scandalised by the diagnosis of the ENT
Doctor :   i can understand your concern
User :   as she kept talking about pus and tonsilitus and eardrums going inside and all
Doctor :   you stay positive
Doctor :   and dont worry
Doctor :   tomorrow let the examination go and we will see whats the real story
Doctor :   dont worry
Doctor :   you will be fine
User :   and I am experiencing listening problems and hear these whistling sounds in my ears sometimes
Doctor :   make sure you tell the dental surgeon this ear problem
User :   ok
Doctor :   i wish you good luck and i am sure you will make a speedy recovery
User :   can you please give me some good references for ent and neurologist as well
Doctor :   have faith in your self
