User :   When I turned twenty years old out of nowhere a very thick vein appeared on my right underforearm. I think it is normal and just appears through age and maturity. However i have had no other veins like this appears since. When I look at other peoples arms I see many veins similar to my one which appeared. I want to research it more to understand it better and I was wandering if you could point me in the direction to where I could find out more.

Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :
let me read
Doctor :
what do you like to know about the veins?
User :   i just want to know how to develop more veins like the one that developed from my elbow to wrist on my under forearm. I notice other people have many veins and i wonder why i don't yet.
Doctor :   veins are present since birth and it will become more prominent when they enlarge,

User :   one that i would really like do develp is one on my kneck which i notice is very common in others but not me. Well I know they are there but they haven't popped out to the surface uder my skin
Doctor :   ok
User :   i didn't have this vein at birth I came out of nowhere from my elbow to wrist and it looks a lot different than my veins that i had all along
Doctor :
User :   like what are veins called that develop after birth?
User :   well not develop but just become visible
Doctor :
veins are present since birth and veins do not develop after birth
Doctor :
they will become more prominent once the blood carrying capacity increases
User :   I have proof in my forearm that one developed that wasn't there
Doctor :   ok
User :   and it is blue so i know it is a vein i think
Doctor :   ok
User :   i think it my be called a superficial vein or something
Doctor :
User :   so you think this vein didn'tjust pop out you think it was already there?
Doctor :   it is the fact

Doctor :
it was there previously and it has become prominent now
Doctor :
its left up to you to believe or not
Doctor :
but it is the truth
Doctor :
you can make more veins visible
User :   how come people have a vein on both sides of there kneck that i don't have?
Doctor :
on the forearm, arm and other parts of the body
Doctor :
my doing physical exercise and increasing the muscle mass
Doctor :
once the muscle mass increases as a result of regular work outs the veins will become more prominent
User :   ok i will try to workout so see if i can get more veins to showup
User :   i just thought there would be a special name for a vein that would become visible when once it couldn't be seen at all.
Doctor :   you can observe that the thin individuals do not have that much veins, but people who have a good physic and do regular work outs will have more veins visible
Doctor :   there is no special name for normal visible veins
User :   ok thanks for the help i will leave it at that.
Doctor :
but there is a disease condition where the veins are visible
User :   what is this?
Doctor :
