I am feeling my left ear little heavy and slight swelling under my left Jaw
I am presently living with HIV phobia, will go t'day for 8week test
In the meantime please advise, if HIV can cause such symptom, as i have read on internet that HIV causes Neck gland to swell

User :   i went for CMIA test on the 30th day which came -ve

User :   firstly i noticed on 18th june, it became normal in 1 day, then again on 29th june, continued up to 3 days, now again from yesterday
Doctor :   can you feel any small swellings in the neck, below left ear, or below jaw bone?
User :   yes there is small swelling

Doctor :   is it painful to touch? how does the consistency feel?
User :   its not painful, but it was painful when it apperaed 2nd time

User :   will go for 8th week HIV test t'day
Doctor :   I would suggest you to take the test, since CMIA test was negative, chances are that this would be negative too.
Doctor :   get a thorough examination done for your ear
Doctor :   to rule out any inner ear problems

User :   i have swelling in my right armpit, on the lower part, which again on pushing doesn't pain and i dont find any bumps when i push them
User :   any chance of lymph nodes have swollen there
Doctor :   ok. the swellings seem to be lymph nodes they can appear with any kind of infection
Doctor :   in HIV AIDs, they are generalized, not located to any one area of body usually
User :   in HIV do the jaw swells or neck gald swell
Doctor :   if you have excessive sweating and body odour, armpit lymph nodes can be found swollen
Doctor :   usually the lymph nodes swell, not the jaw as a whole
Doctor :   the jaw swelling could be due to different reason
Doctor :   and should be examined in detail
Doctor :   is the swelling below jaw bone or above it?
User :   below
Doctor :   does it pain more when you start eating?
User :   no,
User :   but i feel heavy
Doctor :   do feel excessive salivation on the affected side?
User :   no
Doctor :   the swelling below the jaw bone could be the submandibular salivary gland swelling
Doctor :   it should be examined to confirm and treat with antibiotics
