User :   Hi can Stress cause Brain Damage?

Doctor :   Stress can affect all parts of the body in general
Doctor :   like it can cause change in hormonal levels
Doctor :   cause fluctuations meaning a rise in blood sugar levels

User :   ok thanks but not Brain Damage, as in Memory etc?
Doctor :   Yes, the higher mental functions like memory, intelligence

User :   Also sexuality I have been having problems with too.
Doctor :   Yes, that has a lot of correlation with each other

User :   that's the problem I think, as I don't know really what path I want yet.

User :   sexuality mainly as I find men sexually attractive, but thinking about it too much, makes my head hurt.

User :   thinking about good things, can they become bad?

User :   That's the problem I have trouble doing that.

User :   It's really hard and tough as the thoughts I have are good thoughts, but overthinking them like I do, they turn bad to the point where I wish I didn't have them.

User :   I'm 24, single, not working at moment.

User :   Yes mainly

Doctor :   deep breathing daily for 20 minutes
Doctor :   by closing your eyes while sitting in a comfortable position
Doctor :   that shall deviate as well as relax you
Doctor :   and those thoughts shall become less in frequency
Doctor :   Practise this for 2 times daily
Doctor :   You shall be able to see the improvement
User :   What if I don't?
Doctor :   These thoughts shall go on
Doctor :   and you can develop problems like insomnia, depression, OCD, etc
Doctor :   over a period of time
Doctor :   not immediately
Doctor :   but why do you want to follow that attitude of what if I dont?
Doctor :   you should rather be positive
Doctor :   and try to resolve it as far as possible
User :   what I mean't was what if it continues.
Doctor :   No, it shall come down
Doctor :   If it continues out of control
Doctor :   then as suggested by the previous doctor
Doctor :   you should consult a psychiatrist
Doctor :   who shall be able to help you

User :   I did think at one stage it was HOCD

Doctor :   and if it still continues then Psychiatric help
