User :   Hi Dr. Agarwal,

Last year I was diagnosed with stress fractures in both of my tibias. They had occurred almost a year before but I thought they were really bad shin splints and just stopped running. I went to physical therapy 3 times a week for probably about 4 weeks and i wore aircasts on both of my legs as much as i could. They were feeling a lot better when I went back to my orthopedist at the end of the summer and he told me I was able to return to activity.
However, I am still having problems. The pain isn't constant but it occurs often. I can do things like the ellypticle, but I still can't run. I even see some bruising around the areas at certain times. I just want my legs back to normal! I know this will probably involve going back to a doctor, I just want to know what to expect.
