User :   I have taken Seasonique for years, Seasonale before that, been on BCP for nearly 9 years mostly non-stop. I was on antibiotics May 22-June 1-ish. I'm not set to get my period for 4 more weeks.
Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   How can Ihelp you
User :   While I was on antibiotics, I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend, he pulled out ... didn't come inside, but still was without a condom. We've also had sex once since then.
User :   Last week I started getting oddly stomach sick, above and beyond normal acid eflux or anything, I even missed work one day. I have a HUGE exam for work on Wedsnesday. As a joke last week, in anxiety, I joked maybe I was pregnant, as a cop-out in case I fail the exam, and as a reason for the stomach sick.
User :   Then I started thinking .... I GUESS there is a very slim chance I could be. BUT, I haven't stopped taking my BCP bc I get killer migraines (when I do get my period, 4x/year I take an estrogen patch for that week to help with the migraines from hormone flux.
Doctor :   what is yoru age
User :   I realize that taking BCP while pregnant could harm or kill a fetus ... I know it's too early to take a pregnancy test. I am 26, i'll be 27 on June 24. (too old for this stuff!)
User :   I'm nervous if I quit taking the BCP tonight and hope I get my period, wait a couple of weeks, my period is usu erally light anyway ... (Can i take the estrogen patch when i stop BCP?) then i can take a pregnancy test in a cople of weeks with greater accuracy, but can my body afford to be off the pill that long?
Doctor :   Please gimme time to look at your
Doctor :   texts
Doctor :   so that I can answer you properly

User :   ?
Doctor :   yes i am here
Doctor :   i will help u in this

Doctor :   can i ask few Q
User :   yes
Doctor :   were your menstrual cycles regular
User :   4x/year regular
Doctor :   when was your last menstrual cycle
User :   always regulated by BCP
User :   two months ago
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   do yu have white discharge
User :   yes
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   is it profuse
Doctor :   itchy
Doctor :   foul smelling
User :   not really - i've had a couple of yeast infections that have gone unnoticed to me, only treated by a routine checkup to my gyno when they noticed. i dont think i pick up on yeast infection-likes ymptoms very keenly.
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   when was the last date yu took BCP
User :   i wouldnt say profound, maybe more than normal. i have a terrible sense of smell, if i can smell it, i guess it smells bad (otoherwise i wouldnt notice), but not sure how that compares?
Doctor :   when was the last date yu took BCP
User :   i took it tonight, just in the last 10 mins, with my nightly meds. thats what caused the anxiety causing me to seek advice online. (silly?)
Doctor :
when was the last date yu took BCP
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   did yu do urine pregnancy test
User :   what kind of doctor are you? male/female?
Doctor :   Doctor :   hi are yu there
Doctor :   please proceed
User :   i did not take an OTC pregnancy test - primarily bc i havent stopped taking the pill so i didnt think it would be accurate, but my doctor friend (she is a fifth year resident) i talked to today advised that it's probably too early to tell anyway. i asked her if i could just stop taking BCP to see if i got my period (as an indicator of not being pregnant) and she said it might take a few weeks before i could have a better answer and it would be okay to take a real pregnancy test, if negative, then restart the pill.
Doctor :   thats correct
Doctor :   it better to do a urine pregnancy test
Doctor :   if the test is negative it better to continue on BCP
Doctor :   do yu early morning tiredness?
Doctor :   do yu have nausea or vomiting?
User :   which presents the next risk - when i am off BCP (and do i need to be off the estrogen boost patch too?), my hormones make war on my body and it's awful. i get so sick and so weak, is there any other way to tell if i have any chance of being pregnant without having to stop BCP, or alternatively killing a potential fetus by continuing the BCP?
Doctor :   do yu have increased urination
Doctor :   pricking sensation in the breast?
User :   yes to fatigue and vomiting, but i am still getting over the sinus infection a little .... and i thought maybe it was just a stomach bug, sometimes my acid reflux gets me down?
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   when was your last sex
Doctor :did he ejaculate in the vagina
User :   ncreased urination? not sure ... i live in the desert so i always drink lots of water and take cranberry pills. he did not ejaculate in my vagina. (sorry my chat is awful it keeps flashing and re-scrolling form the top). prickling sensation in my breast? i dont think so. i have very small breasts and a loop recorder donimating my left breast.
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   when was the last sex
Doctor :   done
User :   it keeps bringing the convo back to the start and piece by piece refreshing it, then when i almost read the last(most recent line), it starts again. ahh.
Doctor :   ideal for yu would be to go for a urine pregnancy test
Doctor :   first
Doctor :   if the test is positive then a ultrasound is required
User :   it keeps resetting
User :   i cant see what you're writing
User :   do you know a way to restart or reset this session so we can continue?
Doctor :   hi are yu back
Doctor :   are yu able to see the typed words
Doctor :   hi are u back
User :   i cant see anything new
User :   im going to try to log outt and log in
Doctor :   ok
