User:some day back i had a chat with dr regarding phrengitis and he advised me batadin gargle but i am still getting reddish cough in the morning
User:he has advised me to take this for two days in those two days things were normal
User:but when i stopped the gargling it came back

User:only in the morning my throat gets very parched

User:yes i uded to but i have quit for last two months

Doctor:Apart from red colour what colour is the sputum?
User:blackkish /reddish in the morning but rest of day its normal

User:rest of day my throat also gets very parched and hoarseness increases

User:no but my snoring has increased in the last two months
Doctor:Do you gasp for a breath at night
User:yes during snoring it happens

User:what kind of medicine .do i need to go under some test?
Doctor:Since you were getting better with betadine, I think you will get relief with antibiotics
Doctor:You will also need some medicine to help with difficulty breathing
Doctor:Till then you take antiallergic like cetrizine 1 tablet before sleeping
User:earlier i used to take deriphyllin 150mg to control my cough as prescribed by physician
Doctor:It will help with excessive secretions and will provide some relief
Doctor:deriphylline is a bronchodilator
Doctor:It can have some side-effects
Doctor:there are other bronchodilators that can be used
Doctor:best are inhalers
User:but doctor has not informed about this he just told me take this to control coughing

Doctor:In would suggest that you pulmonologist and see what he has to say
Doctor:Pulmonologist are specialists in lung problems
Doctor:I think you will need antibiotics+anti-allergic+a bronchodilator inhaler
Doctor:Apart from that you need to avoid active and passive smoking, dust, cold air, etc
Doctor:Also take nutritious diet and exercise daily to boost immunity
Doctor:The medicines like inhaler and other cough and cold formulas are to be taken only if symptoms are present
