Doctor :   2) Don't drink alcohol, take sleeping pills, or antihistamines right before going to sleep.

3) Avoid dairy products like milk and curd which can cause mucus build-up right before you go to sleep as they obstruct the short aperture of breathing

4) Sleeping on your side instead of your back will help to prevent snoring.
Doctor :   5) Try following a regular sleep routine.
Doctor :   6) Take honey before you sleep ( it is not proved but some practice)

7) Inhale steam before sleeping which will reduce congestion and moisturize the throat.
Doctor :   8) You can buy "BREATHE RIGHT" nasal strips which create more space in the nose and better breathing
