User :   Sir, My five months old son start passing loose stool with some cough in it
User :   he is passing loose/watery stool since last 15 days
Doctor :   Ok.
User :   we are giving him formula feeding (lectogen milk)
Doctor :   Is there any vomitting or fever?
User :   since last 2 days he has also fever
User :   giving him paracetromol cyrup
Doctor :   Did he receive breast milk?
User :   no from day one we are giving him formula one sir.
Doctor :   Is there any mucus or blood in the stools?
User :   15 days back when he started passing loose stool there was some blood in his stool
Doctor :   Lack of breast milk sometimes causes these complications. You should give him adequate fluids
Doctor :   now like ORS packets, make him sip the fluids gradually.
User :   but after taking him to doctor give him Taxim-o

User :   but now the problem with his cough, fever, loose/watery also smelly stool

User :   yes sir the course was for 7 days which was completed.

User :   now comleted 15 days since the course was completed.
Doctor :   It looks like gastroenteritis, he should be given adequate fluids, make him sip ORS fluid almost all the time after every episode of loose stool.
Doctor :   Continue the formula feeding.
Doctor :   I also suggeset that you get a Complete Stool Examination done
User :   Sir we are doing all that but the situation is not improving Wy????
User :   we have done stool routine & culture

User :   there was no infection at all except 2-3 pus cell there.

User :   no infection then why is suffering from fever & cough & loose stool

Doctor :   Lack of pus cells does not suggest that there is no infection, it must be smoldering inside

User :   but all are watery smelly stool
Doctor :   measures like rehydration as there are only two episodes
Doctor :   of loose stools per day
Doctor :   continue the paracetamol syrup for 1-2 days
Doctor :   if the fever does not subside or if the motions increase
Doctor :   in frequency
Doctor :   then he may need a second course of antibiotics
