User :   this morning I did not feel well and took my blood pressure on my leg the results were 173/123 with a pulse rate of 159; do I need to be concerned?

User :   I had a slight headache after about two hours, I was sweating a lot

User :   take medicatin for hypertension and diabaetes 2 no medicine

User :   blood sugar has not been above 200 after food

User :   lipitor diovan 180, plavix and armidex

User :   I had an ultra sound last year and stress test and passed both fine

Doctor :   in diabetics, if uncontrolled, there will be no symptoms, and no chest pain to know that a person has had a heart attack

Doctor :   if your BP is fine, and you are comfortable, then everything is fine

Doctor :   in case, in future, you have similar episodes of high BP,
Doctor :   AND you develop weakness, headache, difficulty walking, dizziness , etc
Doctor :   which last for some time , you should seek medical attention at the earliest
Doctor :   also, you need to optimise your treatment of your blood pressure and diabetes, to make sure they are under control

Doctor :   in addition getting a HBA1C test will help to monitor your progress of diabetes
User :   I had one of them and it was 220 I belive
Doctor :   a eye examination , annually to check for eye damage is also helpful to prevent eye conditions in diabetes
Doctor :   HBA1C is a no in single or 2 digits
Doctor :   the normal value is 5.5
User :   ok I guess I didn't get one of them then
Doctor :   probably u had a lipid profile done
