The other causes could be due to endocrine problems, or some other associated symptoms that could be causing the sleeplessness.

It is too early to predict any problems or dysfunctions in you.
Doctor :
And since you say there is nothing that is troubling you, it is probably the stress and anxiety that would be causing the sleeplessness.
Doctor :
Have you followed?
User :   yes
Doctor :
I shall suggest few measures to help you.
User :   ok
Doctor :
1. Avoid sleeping during the day time.
Doctor :
even if you are feeling sleepy during the day, stop yourself from going to bed.
Doctor :
2. During night times take care that the bed is large enough, soft.
Doctor :
Use multiple sheets to cover yourself.
Doctor :
The more cozy you make your sleeping environment the better sleep you would get.
Doctor :
3. Darken your rooms sufficiently and avoid unnecessary noises.
Doctor :
It is a known fact that you can sleep better in a dark and quiet environment.
Doctor :
4. Avoid unnecessary stress during the day.
Doctor :
Good stress management skills are essential.
Doctor :   6. If you can stop thinking of a few things that is worrying you at night then you may try a few other things while on the bed, like,
Doctor :
listening to soft music, reading your favorite books and magazines and things that you like.
Doctor :
7. Avoid smoking and consuming caffeine at night times.
Doctor :
8. If all these things fail to provide you a good sleep, then the next resort is medications.
Doctor :   You may try phenargan tablets 75 mg one tablet at night, or benadryl syrup one or two teaspoons at night.
Doctor :
Alternatively you may also try tablet dolo cold one tablet at night.
Doctor :
These drugs are available as OTC.
User :   ok
Doctor :
Do not over use these medications.
User :   ok
Doctor :
All these measures must help in making you sleep.

If they all fail, then the next step is hypnotic medications.

They are not available as OTC, you need prescription from a doctor to avail them.
Doctor :
But I am 95% sure all these medications should help you.

Have you followee?
