User :   Hello Doctor, I am finding very difficulty in sleeping since few months. My mind never stay calm. I consult to some doctors but I did not get any benefit. Could you please help me?

User :   yes a lot

User :   I work 9AM-6PM

Doctor :   ok, can you explain the sleep problem in little bit detail ?
User :   yes sure
User :   Acutally I have done MS from UK in 2008. and I tried to get job there. But i Didnt get. Then I came back to India. But I did not get satisfied Job. I took some loan Which I have to pay back too. But I am unable to pay it back in easy mannar. In 2008 my Gandmother died whom I loved a lot
User :   in 2010, my car got stolen, some stuff from my house
User :   Since then, I am feeling so disheartend
User :   and I am not getting good job to pay complete money of loan..
User :   all the time I think about all these stuff.
User :   I used to sleep between 3-6 AM and wake at 8AM-9AM
User :   some time I do not sleep complete day
Doctor :   i see you have unavoidable reasons of stress
Doctor :   and surely the stress in you is the reason for sleep disturbances

User :   What should I do to get it solved?
User :   I consult to a doctor
User :   they gave me sleeping pills too
User :   but some times it also doesnt help
Doctor :   do not go for medications as you can addicted and make the condition worse
User :   my parents told me not to take those pills
User :   so i left the medicine
User :   but I am unable to sleep

User :   I tried alternatives to like to go Gym, reading books but didnt helped
Doctor :   Yoga before bed will help
Doctor :   avoid caffine
Doctor :   and avoid morning naps
Doctor :   also a bath with warm water before the bed will help

Doctor :   consume foods with tryptophan ( amino acids )
User :   what are these kinds of foods?
Doctor :   like milk , tuna , oatmeal , cheez etc

Doctor :   get a body massage atleast twice a week it will get you free from stress and induce sleep
Doctor :   Meditation and mind relaxing exercises to reduce your stress

Doctor :   listening to the music in the nite before bed may help to forget the issues and induce sleep
User :   I tried this but didnt help.
Doctor :   watching movies , just keep your self busy before the bed so that you do not remember any of the issues you have
User :   I feel sleepiness in my eyes but cant sleep. due to which i had high headacke
User :   I do not think about any issue all the day but whenever i go to bed... all these issues come to my mind
Doctor :   that happens when you do not follow strict time schedule
Doctor :   keep a fixed time for the same , and til then keep your mind occupied in some recreational activities
User :   I tried it. same my doctor told me but nothing happened. Then he gave me mild sedatives
Doctor :   avoid sedative at this age
Doctor :   i agree , they do not help much
Doctor :   but over time they do
Doctor :   you have to give them time
User :   when he saw that even after 2 months the condition is still the same then he gave me sedative
User :   because i am consulting him since 6 months
User :   he used to tell me everything to keep me busy
Doctor :   May i know what medicine are you on ?
User :   so that i can become tired but it didnt helped
User :   yes its Atarax 25 mg
Doctor :   have you tried yoga and meditation before bed ?
User :   and Becosules
User :   I tried Meditation. But didnt helped
User :   i didnt tried yoga but i go to gym from 8PM-9:30 PM
Doctor :   ok , try foods with tryptophan , they do act as natural sedatives
User :   I daily drink Milk at night and in the morning
Doctor :   gym makes your body tired , but yoga gives peace to mind
User :   But I take tea or coffe in the evening

Doctor :   the effect of caffine can last upto 6 to 8 hours

Doctor :   and get off the medicine as early as possible
User :   I will try Yoga. But if this also didnt work after few weeks or month, then what should i do. I have stopped taking medicine since last 1.5 months
Doctor :   once you are in new job , you have the reason to be happy
