User :   My sleep pattern is really messed up. I usually go to bed at 4-5 in the morning, and wake up very late(like 2-3 Oclock). Is this bad for my health?
User :   Sometimes I dont have an appetite for anything till 2 A.M.
Doctor :   What is reason for you to have this kind of altered sleep pattern and since when are you having this habit

User :   Well, when I go out with friends I leave around 8 or 9 P.M. then come home around 2 or 3 in the morning

User :   and then go to sleep an hour later

User :   When I have to get up early in the morning(like for church or school) I feel really weak.
Doctor :   What do you have to go out with Friends for and if its your work that is keeping you awake it would be good but other wise then it is serious concern
Doctor :   Here are few measures that you can take to get into good sleep hygiene measures

Doctor :   Keep regular bedtime hours that is the most eseential

Doctor :   Pick a reasonable and regular time to go to bed each night. And stick to it.
Doctor :   Ensure that your sleep environment is appropriate & comfortable
Doctor :   keep the bedroom quiet and as dark as possible when you are sleeping.
Doctor :   Fresh air and optimal room temperature will give you the best sleeping conditions.
Doctor :   Avoid Sleeping with full stomach
Doctor :   have dinner at least two or three hours before bedtime.
Doctor :   Stimulants like caffeine, alcohol and tobacco at least 4-5 hours before bedtime should be avoided .

Doctor :   regular walking, stretching and aerobic exercise will help a long way in inducing sleep earlier .

User :   Can using potroleum(sp) Jelly work for my eczema?

User :   Will it calm the rash?
Doctor :   prescription corticosteroid creams or ointments ease scaling and relieve itch.
Doctor :   In turn Petroleum Based Products would worsen the condition
Doctor :   If itching is severe, oral antihistamines would help.
Doctor :   Try going a day or two without a shower or bath.
Doctor :   limit yourself to 15 to 20 minutes, and use warm, rather than hot, water.
User :   I beilieve I have chronic eczema. Whever my rash is, my pigament darkens and looks very harsh next to my natural skin complexion. Would those creams fix the pigament

Doctor :   Yes Corticosteroids Creams are used for bringing down or reducing the intensity of the hyperpigmentation and along with them you can used EVION cream that has vitamin E and would help in reducing the pigmentation
Doctor :   But it would need to be started after the consultation with the Dermatologist as to if it would suite you or not
Doctor :   Moisturizers provide a seal over your skin to keep water from escaping.

Doctor :   Choose mild soaps that clean without excessively removing natural oils.
Doctor :   Deodorant and antibacterial soaps may be more drying to your skin
Doctor :   Use soap only on your face, underarms, genital areas, hands and feet. Use clear water elsewhere

Doctor :   Apply an anti-itch cream or calamine lotion to the affected area
Doctor :   Avoid scratching whenever possible

User :   Will I be able to get this lotion at the store, or do I have to go to my dermatologist and Pharmacy?
Doctor :   Calamine Lotion and Moisturizers are available but for Steroid creams you will have to get to the Dermatologist however not sure on EVION cream
