User :   I have a 7 week old baby boy who stops breathing during deep sleep this only happens at night when he is in a deep sleep not during naps and not while he is awake

User :   he begins to make choking noises goes limp and his face turns red and his eyes roll into the back his head

User :   and they said that this is normal and he will breathe on his own but he doesnt you have wake him in order for him to start breathing agai

User :   i asked that he be sent home on a monitor like other patients i have heard about but they refused saying there is nothing wrong with him

actually this is a normal phenomenon which happens in many kids
User :   they discharged him, no testing was done all they did was listen to his heart beat and say that it was acid reflex but he shows no symptoms of this
User :   how can this be normal normal babies breathe on their own
User :   my son cannot start himself back up he must be awoken
User :   how can i sleep not knowing if he is breathing or not, all i want is a way to know that my son is ok
