User :   Last ECG borderline. P/PR 137ms/185ms - qrs 105ms - QT/QTC 392ms/418ms - P/QRS/T axis 60/-32/20 - sinus rhythm - intra-atrial conduction delay - lefta axis deviation... should I be concerned? What does all this really mean???
Doctor :   Hi,
Doctor :
User :   Hi do you need more info
Doctor :   it means that there is a delay in conducting the electrical impulse fro the upper part of the heart ( point of impulse production ) to the lower one
User :   what would cause this and is it a concern
Doctor :   Do you have any symptoms like palpitation , missed beats , syncope etc ?
User :   yes infrequently
Doctor :   may in know which symptom you have more ?
User :   palpitation
Doctor :   ok, you may have to get an 2D Electrocardiogram done to know the deviation functioning of the heart due to this electrical abnormality
User :   is this serious
Doctor :   i could not comment on it unless its been confirmed
User :   could medication be a factor
Doctor :   i could consider the probable diagnosis to be left ventricular hypertrophy( increase in heart musculature due to other causes ) and left anterior hemiblock ( impulse carrying nerve block )
User :   understood thank you
Doctor :   you are welcome
Doctor :   thanks for consulting me ,kindly provide your feedback
