User :   Wanted some advice...I have a stiff neck which is troubling me to the extent of giving me a slight discomfort in swallowing. Also, there is a kind of clogging in my ears. Could you please tell me what I should do..

Doctor :   Is there pain in your ears?
User :   No, just the stiff neck which I guess orignates from my right shoulder

User :   yes
Doctor :   Muscular pain in the neck usually does not cause difficulty in swallowing
Doctor :   You must give rest to your Right Shoulder
Doctor :   since pain may be originating from there, spreading to the neck and also causing difficulty in swallowing
User :   I recently did a blood test and was found to have a low RBC count.

Doctor :   Apply cold packs on your neck and upper shoulder

Doctor :   Do not lie down on right shoulder
User :   i have been using Volini for relief but that is very temporary

User :   should I sleep without a pillow
Doctor :   You need to take out the stress from your right shoulder

Doctor :   Do not work on the PC for a day or so.

Doctor :   Also take simple analgesics like Paracetamol

User :   I am under medication with cefixime for a UTI
User :   So, can I safely take paracetamol

User :   I normally take a hot bath and use volini you think that is a bad practice
Doctor :   Cold packs are much better in acute pain than hot packs
Doctor :   Cold packs also decrease the inflammation
Doctor :   You can always apply Volini whether it is hot or cold pack
