User :   hello
User :   hello. for about a 3 weeks now i have had pain in my upper chest. it is a sharp pain that does seem to be triggered with lots of arm movement. for about the same amount of time i have had pain in my knees, if i stand up and try to pull each knee to my chest i feel sharp pain in the front part of my each knee. i went to the Dr. about a week ago and he said my lungs sound and heart sound perfect. thinks maybe the chest pain was muscular and should go away in a week or two. it hasn't gone away. it seems like when i get the pain i can point right to the spot. Dr. said he thinks it is nothing very serious and didn't recommend any further testing. i am just worried this may be symptoms of something serious.
User :   give me a min, please
User :   ok
User :   let me go thru your query
User :   may i know your age and gender please ?
User :   39 male
User :   do you have any other medical problem ?
User :   i should mention back in april 2010 i had a CT angiogram that indicated no blockages and calcium score of 0. recently had an ultrasound of my abdomen for abdomen pain and every thing there was fine, however they did find a cyst on my right kidney. i do also have acid reflux and take nexium 40mg for that.
User :   was a EKG done ?
User :   yes, a few and all seemed normal
User :   ok well since all your tests have come normal
User :   they also did a chest film back in april 2010 and that was fine too
User :   is the pain constant ?
User :   or it comes and goes ?
User :   in the knees sitting here at my desk i feel the pressure on my knees but not a lot of pain. the chest pain comes and goes.
User :   well it does sound of a muscular etiology
User :   are you taking any medications ?
User :   just my nexium
User :   well you have undergone extensive diagnostic tests
User :   and all is normal
User :   so there is nothing to worry about
User :   i just wanted to be sure it was not cancer or any type of leukemia
User :   no that much i can assure you
User :   no physician will take cancer lightly
User :   ok just when you research on your own and look at symptoms of the many things out there you tend to worry when what you have matches some of those serious problems
User :   rapid weight loss is one
User :   do not have that and no changes in bowels or black tarry stools. so how long should this continue before i go back to my Dr.?
User :   2 weeks is the right time
User :   okay i will do that. thank you for your information.
Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   Take care
Doctor :   bye for now
