Doctor:Let me explain.
User:I'd like to mention I did not catch cold or fever ever since this problem started
Doctor:You seem to be suffering from chronic headache.
Doctor:Chronic headache is a termed used when an individual has recurrent similar characteristic headache.
Doctor:The most common cause of chronic headache is migraine and tension headaches.
Doctor:Many individual suffering from migraine do have this XXXXXXX -
Doctor:the dejavu feeling of getting a headache before the actual headache can occur.
Doctor:This is one of the feature of migraine.
Doctor:You could be suffering from the same.
Doctor:I am not sure what medication you had for the fits problem, as the name typed here Flitovin seems wrong.
Doctor:However, this condition needs regular medication if this headache is very recurrent and troubling you.
User:may be i got the name wrong , but i heard what i'm having is just like vit tabs
Doctor:If the symptoms are not very frequent and happening just once in a 2-3 months, we do not usually give regular medication.
Doctor:We suggest patients to take Tab.Dolo 650mg as and when the headache happens.
User:i took vicks action 500 that day when i had fits
Doctor:If this medicine is not effective, you may try stronger pain relievers after discussing with your local doctor.
Doctor:The intensity of migraine headache and other chronic headache can vary
User:ok Doctor
Doctor:You may not find the intensity same at each time, but you would have similar symptoms every day.
User:But can this stop ?
Doctor:If they are not similar, then it might be a different condition.
Doctor:yes, this condition can be stopped
Doctor:I said stopped and not cured,
Doctor:because this condition can come again any time if you are not sleeping regularly or skipping food.
User:and may i know the root cause
Doctor:So the most important cause is to be regular with your sleep and take food regularly.
Doctor:The cause for this condition is not known,
Doctor:however sometimes there could be certain factors triggerin it.
Doctor:Triggering it.
User:bad habbits ?
Doctor:Bad lifestyle I would say - improper sleeping habits, irregular meals, to some extent smoking.
Doctor:The other triggering factors are stressful events,
User:I was shooting for a short film where i acted as a chain smoker,
User:I had to smoke lot of cigs,
Doctor:some obnoxious smell, food in some cases and so on.
User:the last two times it happened one was duriing this
Doctor:I would suggest you to keep a diary - headache diary
User:ok doctor
Doctor:and note down all the factors which could have caused the headache.
Doctor:Over a period of time when you compare those factors
Doctor:you may know what factor is common among these
Doctor:and those could be the triggering factor
Doctor:which you need to avoid.
Doctor:Apart from avoiding the triggering factors
User:that sounds helpful
Doctor:we can also use certain medication to prevent headaches.
Doctor:Various prophylactic drugs is useful for this role.
Doctor:You need to take them regularly and every day.
User:could it be what my doctor prescribed?
Doctor:These medications are suggested if these headache are very frequent like once a week or twice a month.
User:i was advised to take everyday
Doctor:Yes, a neurologist or any other MD physician can prescribe you.
User:i went to a neurologists
Doctor:I am not sure, the medication that was given to you earlier was for this purpose,
Doctor:I may be able to clarify about that if you can give me the exact name of it.
User:let me try
Doctor:Not to worry.
User:sorry doctor I don't have the medicine with me now , no one is at the room to get the name for me
Doctor:Your condition does not seem like a serious one.
User:but it sounds like flivotin or flitovin ,,
Doctor:We can be able to get your life back with the following modification.
Doctor:1. Be regular with your sleep
Doctor:2. Eat regularly
Doctor:3. keep a track using a headache diary.
User:sounds easy but i think would be hard to follow strictly
User:I was prone to common cold and fever before i had this problem , now its almost 1.5 yrs since i had or got one ,
User:does this migrane have any good effects ?
Doctor:4. Take Tab.Dolo 650mg or any other pain killers when ever you get the headache.
Doctor:5. if the headache are very frequent, you can see your physician for those prophylactic drugs.
Doctor:Hope it is clear/
