User :   my daughter 2.5 yrs old, has got a severe cough, pls suggest medicine
User :   she was prescribed by labs.. she s not taking it

User :   she has got cold...i gave her mox, now still cough persists..
Doctor :   Does she hav any associated symptoms like fever , running nose,etc
Doctor :   Since how many days are you giving mox
User :   2 days. fever was there.. i gave crocin.. last 2 days she does nt have fever..normals.. she s very tired...too..not taking proper food
User :   first days i gave mox,, then i went to doctor and gave her crocin, relent..
User :   dr suggstd to 3 - 4 days.. she s not taking the syrup.

Doctor :   Since she ran high temperature with cough
Doctor :   probably she is suffering from lower respiratory tract infection

Doctor :   the exact cause of which can be made out of detailed physical examination of the chest

Doctor :   hence i would suggest to continue mox for 3 more days to complete the course
Doctor :   you can continue the syrup crocin for fever

Doctor :   but do not stop mox as you have started it , interrupted dosage may lead into resistence to the drug
