In manipal they have told fr scanning and blood test and after that they have given certain medicines and in case of hosamt they have told it is because of vitamin C deficiency and gave certain vitamin tablets
Let me brief you.
Osteoarthritis is an age related joint wear and tear condition.
Without an opportunity to examine the joints and without having a look at his X-ray/blood test,
I would not be able to confirm this possibility.
Are you following?
sir can ths be cured?
It is a chronic condition which will occur in almost every individual.
Some people experience it at the age of 45; some at about 60 and few after 65 years.
if you are able refer me any good doctor in that field it will be very helpful
Presence of other triggering factors such as strenuous physical exercise, vitamin D and calcium deficiency will stimulate early onset.
Further, the condition can be progressing.
Pain killers and other pain relieving options would be needed if there is severe pain affecting daily life.
The medications are available as oral tablets, joint injections.
Rarely in most severe cases surgical therapy may be needed.
You need to consult a joint specialist or a rheumatologist
to evaluate this condition and the right mode of treatment applicable to his current situation will be suggested.
can u refer me any of them nw?
I an ready to brg him tomorrow only if given an appointment
Hosmat is the premier institute for bones and joints in Bangalore.
If you are not happy with the treatment there, you may try consulting rheumatologist.
can u suggest any rheumatologist in bangalore ?
He is a rheumatologist practising at Manipal.
I am not sure if he practices else where.
sir how can i get his appointment?
You can try him, but I think you may not be able to get his appointment early.
If your father
*father's condition is stable, then you can try him at Manipal.
You may get his appointment early.
