User :   convulsion since 1year age, now 14 years is on Norep 2 and Encrato chrono 300 the frequency remains thrice a month whats your advice

User :   yes

Doctor :   have any tests like MRI brain been done ?
User :   in1997 high fever then convulsion as per docto febrile convulsion todds paralysis only left side as per ct report mild brain shrinkage
User :   ct report on 26.11.200
Doctor :   does he have any developmental abnormality or lack of growth ?
User :   no MIR done yet , no such complaints
Doctor :   The medicines he is on are for control of seizures
Doctor :   And In case, he still has seizures i would recommend an EEG
Doctor :   Also the presence of brain damage can be the cause of the persistant sezures that are recurring
Doctor :   Can u tell me , if the child has been persistantly having seizures every month through out his age ?

User :   in class 9 doing well she is my daughter
Doctor :   other than seizures, does she have any other issue like memory loss , difficulty in daily activities or routine activities ?

User :   no, other than seizures she has no problems , vomitinng at the time of fits

Doctor :   as per the history given by u, i feel that she needs proper titration of her meds to stop her seizures

Doctor :   her doses have to be increased or the medications changed so as to control the symptoms
Doctor :   when was the last time she had been seen by her doc ?
User :   1year ago
Doctor :   You need her to be seen by her doc, every 2 months atleast
Doctor :   avoiding medical care, can lead to more complications
User :   using this med since 1yr,but before other med i.e tegretol,eptoin etc
Doctor :   i would advice that the medicines can be adjusted, so that the the response to treatment can be measured

Doctor :   the medicines like clonazepam and valproate that ur daughter is on, have to be increased
Doctor :   and she needs to get evaluated again, to look in for any other causes why the treatment is not responding
User :   would it be right to visit you there becus we dont get proper treatment here
Doctor :   Usually in pts with epilepsy, the Most common cause of treatment failure is low dosage or lack of compliance
Doctor :   make sure that ur daughter is taking the medicines regularly
Doctor :   sometime kids dont understand the importance of meds and sometimes avoid them

Doctor :   Or see a Neurologist in XXX, who will follow up, and guide u accordingly
