dr. my father just had angioplasty done in december.
just after the anhioplasty he has to major problems,
1. whatever he eats he feels it is late even for sweets he feels its too spicy.
2. since 2 months he is coughing continuosly.he has this irritation in his throat.please advice

Doctor :   now the taste change he has been experiencing is due to the medications, its a common side effect. its nothing serious, you can always visit his cardiologist and some medications can be changed

User :   it started with dry cough 95% times its dry.once it starts it goes on for hrs. specifically when he tries to lie down.does not sleep the whole night.the moment he lies down it starts.

Doctor :   make sure he has a syrup and also some lozenges so that the irritation goes down
User :   yes the family dr changed 2 syrups, then the dr in his panel gave him another.he takes sualin also
