I am, father of the above child.
Request your advice for the below health related query. Many thanks!!!
My child was in loose motion in Greenish color for the past 3 weeks. Having consulted with nearby pediatrician, he prescribes medicines as below in my first visit.
1.     Susp: Bactrim                          3.5 ml - 0 - 3.5ml
2.     Tab: Sporlac                          1     1     1     
3.     Sachet: Electrobion Small                2
But after dosage of five days, symptoms persist again, then again I went back and advised to take following medicines
1.     Cap: Vibact                         ½     ½     ½     
2.     Sachet: Electrobion Small               2
As the problem still persists even after took the above medicines, Dr further adviced me to take motion test where the result as follows: Motion Report
Macroscopical Examination: Colour          :     Green
Consistency           :     Loose
Blood               :     Not Present
Mucus               :     Present
Microscopical Examination: Ova               :     Not Present
Cyst               :     Not Present
Vegetative form of Amoeba :     Not Present
Pus Cells          :     Plenty
RBCs               :     Not Present
Others               :     Bacteria’s present,
                    Motile micro organisms present (Plenty)
Reducing Substances:      + (GREEN)
The above motion report has been viewed by our doctor and adviced to take the below medicines: Syp:Zeof           4ml     4ml     4ml
Atarax Drops          7ml     7ml     7ml     7ml     (every 6 hrs)
Tab: Sporlac          1     1     1
Now, my kid is with severe cold, cough, not sleeping (due to cough).
Please advice for my further follow-up to resolve this problem.

Doctor :   Infants present very often with green stool , it is very common.
Doctor :   Usually it is common due to fore milk and hind milk problem,
User :   Ok, how the bacteria can be treated?
Doctor :   if an infant takes only foremilk without hind milk infants get green stool.
Doctor :   And the bacteria , ofloxacin is best antibiotic.
Doctor :   And has been rightly prescribed.
User :   Presently my child was given breast feed and if necessary NAN 2... Is it OK
User :   During night time he is continuosly crying, unable to calm down...
Doctor :   Ok, That is good , but just keep track that when the breast milk is being given, a single feed must consist of feeding on one breast and later another.

Doctor :   There is a significant bacterial infection as the stool examination says .
User :   PLease advice me about the weight? Is 6.2 Kgs for 8 month baby is right? Born wgt is 2.8 kgs

User :   Initially 6-7 times, but now 34 times]

User :   Looking normal, but crying frequently.. not sleeping last night, and more than half an hour.. That is he is sleeping only for half an hour...

Doctor :   This is probably due to both the bacterial infection in the stool and also cough
User :   Looking active... Previously 10 times a day.. but now 4 to 5 times a day

Doctor :   Ok.If it is till 6 times it is fine, I would say he might be under dehydration.
User :   Ok what should be done to recover from these issues...
Doctor :   Please follow the following steps to help him out : User :   ok
User :   Also he is crying while passing urine
Doctor :   1. Give him electrobion as advised by the doctor but add one more to it .
Doctor :   2. As long as he is taking oral food or milk or fluids and not vomiting continue giving him through oral route.
Doctor :   3. Please continue the antibiotics that were prescribed by the pediatrician.
Doctor :   4. If the urination comes down to 3-4 times after 1/2 day please admit him for IV-Fluids & antibiotics.
Doctor :   5.Please do give him hind milk.
Doctor :   6. The antibiotic would work on the cough , in case theer is wheeze has to be admitted to the hospital and given IV-Antibiotic.
User :   Thanks, I will follow as per your instruction. Please advice me on weight increase..
Doctor :   7. Please put eucalyptus oil around the clothes to increase bronchial dialtation
Doctor :   it has to be at least 8.5 kgs
Doctor :   for that start ona food called ragi cherry
User :   OK.. The budex is so hard..
