User :   hi i 4 weeks preg had internal scan 2 day shown sac...but had cramoing and bleeding and urine test negative...could i still be preg and its just to early to tell
Doctor :   Hi
User :   hi
Doctor :   May I know what cramoing is?
User :   sorry i ment cramping
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   So your scan showed the sac right?
Doctor :   When was the scan taken?
User :   yes but they said cant tell if heartbeat as its very early...scan was today
Doctor :   When did you do the UPT?
Doctor :   Urine preg test?
User :   at the hospital just after scan about 11am
Doctor :   When was your last menstrual period?
User :   2nd of may didnt get positive till tues night hence thinking only 4 weeks they said sac is right size
Doctor :   So you did not get your usual period on 2nd june & were positive on tuesday, right?
User :   yes
Doctor :   Now since when are you having bleeding & cramps?
User :   since this morning about 5am
Doctor :   Ok, so that is why you went to hospital today.\
User :   yes
Doctor :   So now you want to know whether you are still pregnant & not aborted, right?
Doctor :   OK
User :   yes please
Doctor :   could you describe to me how your bleeding was?
Doctor :   Did you observe
Doctor :   any larger tissue?
User :   like a period
Doctor :   Is the bleeding more than usual or the same?
User :   about the same
Doctor :   Do you usually get cramps?
User :   yes
Doctor :   Was it of the same or lesser intensity?
User :   about the same usaully have pretty bad cramps
Doctor :   Ok, looks like you have had a period which should not have happened, but
Doctor :   since the sac was
Doctor :   visible, one cannot declare that the fetus too has come out with the period
Doctor :   Hopefully it has survived the bleed
Doctor :   You need not rely on
Doctor :   the urine pregnancy tests anymore
Doctor :   scan showing fetal heart beat is best confirmation
User :   how do i go about doin that as they said i had early miscarriage
Doctor :   Yes as they have rightly said you have to wait for 2 more weeks to visualise the heart activity
User :   2 weeks!...should i maybe do another urine test in a few days or ask for some blood test from doctor
Doctor :   The urine pregnancy test can be done, but it could show a negative sometimes, even though one is pregnant
Doctor :   Since you have already got a negative
Doctor :   i dont think it is necessary
Doctor :   What has your Doctor told you?
User :   so there could still be a chance... i just dont see how thet can say i have miscarried while i have still got a sac...very frustrting and confusing... she said negative urine sample so very early miscarriage...its the 3rd time
Doctor :   In case of repeated miscarriages
Doctor :   one needs thorough evaluation for
Doctor :   identifying the cause of such miscarriages
Doctor :   Have you been evaluated?
User : should i just ring me doc...ask for another scan in 2weeks or blood test
Doctor :   This past medical history of yours only increases the chances of you having had miscarriage now
Doctor :   When has your doc asked you to come?
Doctor :   Or what has he told you?
User :   they havent said anything told me i was miscarrying and sent me home
Doctor :   It is better for you to get in touch with an infertility clinic for the present(in case not yet aborted) & future pregnancies.
Doctor :   You must be investigate
Doctor :   for the cause of repeated abortions
