Doctor :   Your baby's heart will begin to beat in the first trimester.
Doctor :   Typically this cannot be heard with even a Doppler until the 9-10th week of pregnancy at the earliest, sometimes not until the 12-14th weeks of pregnancy.
User :   I had an internal scan, I think I am only worrying incase it is the onset of miscarriage and I have been reading to many stories online from others with bad outcomes. They sonography tried to do an external scan but I am overweight so thought it better for an internal. I am also confused as it says the external has to have a full bladder and internal empty, I had the external followed by the internal so my bladder was still full
Doctor :   You may also experience some spotting if you overextend yourself during the first month or two of pregnancy.
