User :   Hi
Doctor :   Hi,
Doctor :   How can I help you ?
User :   i was going thru some bowel issues, hence my doctor suggested me to get a sonograhy done...
User :   in the sonography we chanced upon some very unexpected problem
Doctor :   May I know what symptoms you had ?
User :   I was having loose motions (not very loose) often ie once in a month.. since quite a few months
User :   feeling weakness has always been there... head ache ie on both sides of the head.. not on the forehead..
User :   okay.. now the report states "Hyperechoic solid midly vascular mass measuring 8.7 cm x 6.5 cm in size seen arising from left kydney at upper role"
User :   k
Doctor :   ok, It could be a simple renal cyst
Doctor :   Most of times they do not cause any harm but only if the size is huge it may cause secondary compression effects
User :   what does "secondary compression effects" mean
Doctor :   the tumor may compress on the adjacent structures like the kidney , ureter , some blood vessels and then can produce symptoms
User :   how do you rate "8.7 cm x 6.5 cm".. is it small, medium or big
Doctor :   A moderate sized cyst,, 6/10
User :   wat is the common course of action in such conditions?
Doctor :   Usually they do not need any treatment unless proved symptomatic , The treatment if such cysts is surgical removal
User :   u mean it does not continously grow.. can the size remain the same?
Doctor :   sometimes it does grow also there are chances of regression hence regular watch has to be maintained over it, frequent Ultrasound scans once every 3 months is a must
User :   is biopsy required?
Doctor :   It may help in confirming the diagnosis
User :   so this condition is not life threatening (unless proved otherwise by a biopsy test), right?
User :   is there a medical cure thru medicines?
Doctor :   Yes,
Doctor :   Sorry to say , none. But Biopsy may help how to proceed
