User :   actually my mother is facing this problem curently..she is 57 ..we came to know that URIC acid content is more in her
User :   she is hypo-thyrodic as well

Doctor :   1. ask her to drink lot of water daily , this will help a lot in preventing and treating infections
Doctor :   2. she must avoid spicy food for a while
Doctor :   3. i suggest she take Tab DOLO 500 mg when she has pain
Doctor :   4. she neds to get this test to check for urine infection ,called URINE ROUTINE AND MICROSCOPY

Doctor :   if there are pus cells in urine which are more than 5 or so , and other chnages , she will need antibiotics
Doctor :   i also suggest you get her blood pressure checked

User :   I have 6 months old baby and she is often having blocked nose..she finds very dificult to breathe during nights and early mornings, she was down with fever 2 weeks back and she was given Colpol

User :   I gave her Timinic drops and Mucolyte as prescribed

Doctor :   she will take time for recovery as in most children it will be a viral infection

User :   yes..cough has..but cold is having tough time on her

Doctor :   if the blockage is at night, use at bed time only
Doctor :   if you use this , do not use other drops, stick to one

Doctor :   i meant if the child has severe stuffy nose and difficulty in breathing use at frequent intervals , if it has problems only at night while sleeping , instill at night before bed
