User :   my wife is pregnant since 7 weeks
User :   she is having severe itching on her palms & soles & back

User :   the itching is so sever that, it is affecting her sleep

Doctor :   Itching can be seen in some women as normal side effect of pregnancy.

User :   any remedy for that?
Doctor :   However, if she develops any other skin lesions such as patches in the body, rashes or any swelling, it can indicate infection.
Doctor :   In this case, she would need to see a doctor.
Doctor :   Itching can be controlled by the use of skin moisturisers and by changing the soap she uses to a mild soap.
Doctor :   You can use lactocalamine solutions instead.
