User : about high temprature of 103degree for a child of 3 years. please advice

User : and temp is 103 we have given calpol by 1 PM, 6 Pm and 11 PM

User : temprature reduces once medicine is given for an hours and so
User : no shivering
Doctor : since when he has been having this fever ?
User : since yesterday 12.00 PM

User : he eats and drinks water once the fever comes down.

Doctor : is there any one sick in the family ?
User : no.
User : he was having a problem in veesing

User : Since 6 pm till now he didnt had food.

User : I have given Meftal an hour before and now the temp is 101

Doctor : 1) Ensure that your child child has plenty of water to drink - this prevents dehydration. Carrot juice is excellent for children with fever. Other fluids include lemon, honey and fruit juices. Give ice cubes to suck if he refuse to drink fluids.
Doctor : 2) If the fever goes above 102ºF (39ºC) sponge with tepid water. Never use ice cold water.
Doctor : also 102 is considered a HIGH fever in this age . so PLEASE make sure you take him to the doctor first thing in the morning
Doctor : as for now the medicines you are giving are fine
Doctor : but he needs to see a doc tomorrow
User : I had given Maftal if temp comes what is the intraval?
