User :   My son is 2.7 years old
User :   he is having cold and cough. Doctor had prescribed toff dc and mucolite syrups
Doctor :   Since when is he having this?
User :   he has chest cold and he keeps coughing... he is unable to bring out the flum

Doctor :   The medications take 3 days at least to be effective.
User :   ok. Is there any other syrup we should give for his cough to come down other than toff-dc and mucolite>
Doctor :   They are antibiotics and expectorant syrup, they are good enough.

Doctor :   Give him humidification and do not expose to cold weather.
Doctor :   If he can be given steam give that 3 times a day.
Doctor :   After adding Karvol Plus in water.

Doctor :   Avoid having cold food items.
Doctor :   Try to avoid him swallowing flem.
Doctor :   Give him steam inhalation, it will help in breaking the flem and coming it out.
