User :   hello
Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   I am Dr.
User :   hi i will be brief, only have so much time :) nice to meet you.. here is my story: Doctor :   Yes go ahead
User :   visited recently (a few days back, for about 2 weeks) had multiple encounters with females, only had sex with 1 girl.. hand/mouth with others... i now have 1 small red circle on the shaft of my penis..
User :   with 1 girl, had 2 condoms break, on different days
User :   circle does not itch or hurt.. would an std show up so quickly?
Doctor :   The usual incubation period ( time taken for symptoms to show up) is varied amongst different STD's, typically from 1 day to 7 days
Doctor :   Hence a fair chance only
User :   what could one single small red circle potentially be ? many things?
Doctor :   Now coming to the symptom of single circle
Doctor :   has no typical meaning
Doctor :   I would like to enquire about other possible symptoms
User :   circle maybe has the surface area of a BB (from a bb gun) but is not really raised from skin..
Doctor :   like fever, body ache, penile discharge, pain and swelling of the penis
User :   no, none of the symptoms you have listed
Doctor :   Ok, I would not be concerned aboiut your symptoms now
User :   could it be a fungus you think maybe?
Doctor :   But I would like to remind you about the high risk behaviour
User :   indeed
Doctor :   Circle could be a ring worm ( fungal)
Doctor :   but it typically presents with itching
Doctor :   and color change
User :   should i be concerned with hiv possibly, from condoms breaking (on 2 different occasions) ?
User :   color change?
Doctor :   HIV does not present within 4 weeks of exposure
User :   hiv, i mean odds generally speaking
Doctor :   Clinicians typically rule out STD and HIV for every high risk behaviour person
Doctor :   even though that particular episode does not mean anything
User :   so i shall not worry so much?
Doctor :   For your presentation, yes
User :   at what point, with this red circle, would i be concerned?
Doctor :   The above mentioned symptoms
User :   i have a cream from a doctor when i had a fungus on my lower leg / foot. shall i use it in this case?
Doctor :   Since there is no itching and it is only cosmetically disfiguring for you, I would say to leave it alone
User :   ok.. sometimes i think i am itching more than usual, but i think it is just in my mind from worrying..
User :   so would you say (being that it is 1 small red circle) it is atypical for an std?
User :   or 1 does not mean anything..
Doctor :   Does not mean anything
User :   when reading about herpes, i read typically they present as a __group__ of small red dots
Doctor :   Herpes should have present by this time, with severe pain itching and red dots
Doctor :   the incubation being 4 to 5 days
User :   my encounter(s) were 4 to 5 days ago...
User :   ok.. for now, i will not worry...
Doctor :   You said 2 weeks back
Doctor :   in the first place
User :   no, for 2 weeks in ,
User :   just got back on the 12th
User :   yesterday actually..
Doctor :   When was your last sexual encounter
User :   3 /4 days ago..
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   Just be alert if any of the above said symptoms
Doctor :   come up, please seek a doctor's examination
Doctor :   Otherwise, be aware of the high risk behaviour
User :   ok.
User :   i think that about does it doc , thanks.. will limit risky behavior..
Doctor :   Thank you for consulting
Doctor :   Hope it has been useful
Doctor :   Bye for now
