User:I had GERD(ACID REFLUX) problem 2 years before
User:and i used Nexium for 2 weeks and it was cured
User:and in between i used to have this problem but not for longtime
Doctor:Is the problem still there?
User:from last 2 weeks i see that i am getting this problem a bit more frequent

Doctor:It is better to take Nexium again for 2 weeks
User:is that ok to continue the same drug or should i change?
User:what do you suggest mam?
Doctor:The drug has worked for you in the past, you should stick to it
User:i dont remember the weight of the drug which was suggested earlier by doctor
User:it was in some Milli grams
User:i am using the least weighted one
Doctor:It is 40 mg tablet
Doctor:you can one tablet on empty stomach in the morning for 2 weeks
User:sure mam i will use that for 2 more weeks and if i dont find any result i will consut a doctor
Doctor:lifestyle changes are very important in GERD
Doctor:you should try and follow it
User:you mean food habits?
Doctor:also stay away from smoking and alcohol
Doctor:Eat plenty of fruits and salads
Doctor:Drink plenty of water
User:i am not having alcholol or any other habits
User:but i drink very less water
User:and i drink softdrinks more
Doctor:You should drink at least 3 litres
User:should i stop having cool drinks
Doctor:drink tender coconut water more
Doctor:Don't have carbonated drinks like pepsi and coke
User:drinking buttermilk will reduce GERD problem or increases that?
Doctor:It will decrease GERD
User:even drinking milk i feel the problem is becoming more severe
Doctor:Why don't you take a consultation with dietitian regarding your diet?
User:ok thank you..

User:i already consulted got a timetable from a nutrition
