User :   Hi, I have white patches developed on my finger tips and neck about 3 years ago which are kind of on and off. I also have some patches developing on my thighs when I sweat a lot which are scaly and itchy. My mouth and tongue is white when I woke up in the early morning. I will be starving all the time even after I eat a full meals.

User :   neck patch is smaller than a penny but all the finger tips have patches

Doctor :   Are those itchy and scaly?
User :   I believe it started when I started doing heavy weight exercise (just a guess!)
User :   the patches on my legs are scaly and itchy but not on my neck and finger tips
User :   I play tennis every day and I sweat a lot
Doctor :   Did you take any treatment for it?
User :   I went to a couple of doctors and they suspected them as vitiligo and prescribed Protopic and Fluciononide but nothing helped

User :   My palm also started developing a light patch in the area exactly I hold my tennis racket.
Doctor :   Are the patches on the neck and on the legs are the same?
User :   No, leg patches looks scaly where as neck patches has no scale

User :   I also have small white patches developed on my penis head area (very small ones)
Doctor :   Did the patches decrease after treatment?
User :   some of them decreased during winter time and started increasing in summer

User :   Some of the days my lips will be red and burning/tingling and It feels very irritating and uneasy.

User :   when I don't eat anything for some time
Doctor :   Do you smoke or consume alcohol?
User :   No for smoking. But I take alcohol once or twice a month.

Doctor :   Are you on any medication?
User :   No.

Doctor :   The patches on the leg looks like a fungal infection.
User :   ok
Doctor :   Do you have any anti fungal with you?
User :   No
Doctor :   Use candid cream on them.
Doctor :   Try to keep the area dry.
User :   ok
Doctor :   Use it for 2 weeks.
User :   when i sweat a lot my mouth and lips will be white patch and like glue

User :   how about other patches on my neck and fingers, they are not completely white like vitiligo ...they are lighter than that

User :   No they are not.

User :   oval but not with correct corners
User :   one in palm is big area (very light) not in a particular shape.
User :   Some of them got them better even when I don't use anything
User :   both the sides under my chin and both of my finger tips and little on palm
Doctor :   Do you have any past history of diabetes or hypertension?
User :   No
Doctor :   Ok.
User :   I am underweight and exercise regularly
Doctor :   Ok.
Doctor :   Have you shown it to a dermatologist ?
User :   Yes. they suspected it vitiligo...but not given any tests
Doctor :   the causes Vitiligo are not known.
User :   one of them did a patch test for allergies but was negative
Doctor :   There is very limited treatment for it.
Doctor :   Ok.
User :   I heard about tineaveriscolor, is there any chance for it?
Doctor :   They are usually circular, scaly.
User :   ok
User :   does vitiligo increase with sweat?, I see more spots when I sweat.
User :   why am I hungry and thirsty for every 2 hours and after I ate, I am not increasing any weight also
Doctor :   Vitiligo has nothing to do with sweat.
Doctor :   You have to check your thyroid profile.
User :   I did with my physician and it is normal
Doctor :   Ok.
Doctor :   How about blood glucose?
User :   normal
Doctor :   Ok.
Doctor :   Do you have any problem with acidity?
User :   yes, sometimes
Doctor :   Take omez 10 mg tablet once a day before food.
