User:doc u der?
User:i had a quick question last week for my 2 months old son was having losemotion we thought it was due to change in was for the formula milk
User:on the same day we gave him olive oil massage
User:after 1.5 days he was ok
User:today again we massaged with olive oil and from morning 3 times he had lose motion after feed
User:also we are giving him only formula milk as my wife is not getting milk to feed him also he is a preterm baby 31 weeks born
User:now i think lose motion is coz of olive oil massage could you please suggest me something to stop lose motion
Doctor:Although there are no robust studies which say that Olive oil massage cause loose motions, since your baby has them after a massage please do not massage. The loose motions does not require a medication
Doctor:They contain themselves
Doctor:in a day or two
Doctor:So it is not worth to medicate him
Doctor:The stools can go upto 12 per day in a baby of 2 months
Doctor:so you do not need to worry and medicate
Doctor:Make sure that the sterilization is appropriate
Doctor:while giving formula feeds
User:alright that will be taken care off thank you
Doctor:Do you have any more queries for the day?
