Doctor :   hi
Doctor :   how can I help you?
Doctor :   please proceed with your health query
User :   i was wondering. i havent had sex in a long time but havent had my period for 2 months and ive been very stressed can that delay my period?
Doctor :   stress can delay periods by upto 5-10 days
Doctor :   more than a month's delay might have other underlying causes that should be investigated to confirm
Doctor :   these involve hormonal disturbances, pregnancy, ovarian issues etc
Doctor :   do you have any other associated symptoms?
Doctor :   please provide your age, height and weight
User :   19 5'5 145
Doctor :   ok. do you have any other associated symptoms?
User :   i get cramps just not my period
Doctor :   I would recommend you to go ahead with a visit to gynecologist (not regular GP) for an examination along with a blood HCG level test and ultrasound scan to first confirm/rule out pregnancy
Doctor :   and if pregnancy is ruled out, to proceed with hormonal analysis
Doctor :   the scan done will also help to pick if any ovarian issues are present
Doctor :   have you followed what I have said?
User :   yes
Doctor :   is there anything else I can help you with?
Doctor :   based on your investigation results, further treatment can be planned for you.
