User :I am a gay male.
Doctor :   OK
User :   About 2 months ago, I had sex with a man who had HPV. One week after that I had sex with another man, but this time a clean man. Then, I started developing a wart near my anus and it kept growing. A couple weeks ago I went to the doctor and he cauterized my wart. He told me today I was good and no HPV virus was left in that area.
Doctor :   Usually HPV is local infection
Doctor :   If they are killed with heat/cautery they are gone
User :   in how long now will i know for sure that i for sure dont have anything left?
User :   when can i go back to being sexually active?
Doctor :   As long as the there are warts u have active infection
User :   if the whole area was cauterized well enough, are the chances that it wont grow back high?
